Climb Mt. Paektu by a Cable Car: Mt. Paektu was formed by volcanic eruption towards the third period of the Cenozoic Era, creating a magnificent and majestic feeling. It is the highest mountain in Korea 2,750m high.

The crater Lake Chonji(2750m above the sea level): The lake is the deepest mountain lake in the world. It covers an area of 9.16km2 and measures 14.4km around. The deepest bottom measures 384m. It’s water freezes from mid-October to mid-June next year.

Walk around the lake shore(ca. 2h)

Trek around Janggun Peak(ca. 1h): The highest peak in Mt. Paektu, it is 2,750m high above sea level. It is the highest peak in Korea. It is composed of sheer cliffs down to the Lake Chon and 20 to 30 degrees slopes.

Mt. Paektu-Pyongyang

Mt. Paektu Milyoung: It is the historic home where General Kim Jong Il was born and spent his childhood with his mother.

Rimyongsu Falls: It is unique falls that the water of Lake Chon flows out from the ground-water zone and down through the slopes of cliffs. It never freezes in winter.

Grand Monument on Lake Samji: It was built to hand down the revolutionary achievements of the President Kim Il Sung who led the anti-Japanese struggles to victory.

Kim Il Sung Square: It is the principal Square of the country where political events, mass demonstrations and meetings, and parades have been held on official holidays and various occasions starting from the mass rally of Pyongyang citizens celebrating the victory in the Korean War on July 28, 1953.

Tower of Juche Idea: It was built on the shore of River Taedong to symbolize the immortal Juche idea created by the President in April 1982. It is 170m in height.

Visit and Experience Pyongyang Metro: Take Pyongyang Metro with the Citizen of Pyongyang. It has two Lines: Mangyongdae Line was built in 1987 and Hyoksin Line in 1979. Both of them are from 100 to 150 meters deep. Its year-round temperature stays constant at an 18 degrees Celsius range..

Depart for Kaesong from Pyongyang(One-Way 2h 30m)

Panmunjom: Originally Panmunjom was a village between Kaesong and Seoul. The humble rural Village has been wild known after the Armistice Talks were held. The Meeting Hall where Armistice Talks were held and the Hall where the Armistice Agreement was signed are in it.

King Wang Kon’s Mausoleum: It is the mausoleum of King Wang Kon(877-943) who founded Koryo(918-1392)

Koryo Museum: It was a Confucian education facility of the Koryo dynasty but now it became a museum displayed historical remains and relics showing the foundation and development of the Koryo dynasty.
